There's been some speculation that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray would prefer playing his video-game system over studying an NFL playbook.
It's not completely unfounded speculation, either. There was that clause the Cardinals put in his new contract that required him to do four hours of “independent study” each week. That clause was ultimately taken out of the contract, but it pointed to the fact that the Cardinals fear Murray is more likely to play video games than study film for his upcoming opponent.
Whether true or not, known trash-talker Richard Sherman — now an NFL analyst after years dominating the league as a shutdown corner — took some time on the "Thursday Night Football" pregame show to make a few jokes at Murray's expense.
Richard Sherman kept on making Call of Duty references when talking about Kyler Murray in the pregame show:

"I bet he knows when a new map drops."
Richard Sherman just bodied Kyler Murray with a Call of Duty joke and boy do I feel seen.

Yeah, Kyler Murray ain’t gonna do hot tonight
Heading into "Thursday Night Football," Murray's Cardinals were 2-4 and riding a two-game losing streak. Murray has thrown six touchdown passes compared to four interceptions so far this season (at the time of this writing).
