Bad news: Jerrell Freeman wasn't practicing on Wednesday, according to a report by Phil Richards. Still, Richards's article does provide some good news: Vontae Davis went the full practice, and Angerer and Reitz look possible for Sunday after limited practice today.
"Everyone else," Arians said, "is questionable, day to day."
That includes cornerback Vontae Davis(ankle), who was a full practice participant Wednesday, and inside linebacker Pat Angerer (foot), guard Joe Reitz (knee) and tackle Winston Justice (ankle), all of whom did limited work.
If Angerer is back, Freeman might get a pass this week (depending on the severity of his injury). Still, Pat Angerer's been on the verge of coming back for so long now that we really should expect anything. On another positive, the Indy game sold out, making it a string of 83 home games in a row. They were close for week 7 - sold out on the last day - but really, that's a testament to how dedicated Colt...

Richards: Indianapolis Colts Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen bright spots in gloom
Well, it's a bit of a slow day so far for finding good, current stories on the Colts. Nonetheless, here's what I have so far:
Phil Richards of The Indianapolis Star says Allen and Fleener have been bright spots in the Colts' gloom. The two haven't been super productive, but remember that they're rookie tight ends. For rookies at that position, they'...
A look back at Ballard
This Sunday Colts fans got their long-awaited look at Vick Ballard who started in place of the injured Donald Brown. Fans have routinely panned Donald Brown and Joe Addai before him for their lack of productivity. Ballard's approach is very powerful in contrast to the slashing style favored by both Brown and Addai. Naturally fans assumed this would lead to a better run game between...
Kuharsky: Will Freeney have an ankle issue all year?
Yep, this one is just what it sounds like. ESPN's Paul Kuharsky wonders if Dwight Freeney's ankle issues will persist all year. There is also some of the same speculation that's followed Freeney around since the offseason:
However it comes out, it’s hard to envision the Colts and Freeney coming to terms on a contract beyond this one.
Wherever Freeney ends up next...
Luck not Above Growing Pains
No quarterback has come into the NFL with greater expectations than Andrew Luck. Colts Authority writer Todd Smith is so sure of his successful NFL future that he has set in motion a plan to follow every single snap of the Colts rookie signal caller, providing the most in-depth statistical breakdown of a quarterback's career ever put together.
It is the attention he is receiving...
Mr. Irrelevant cut by Colts
The Indianapolis Colts needed to cut someone so they could sign tight end Weslye Saunders. Chandler Harnish was the victim. Harnish was drafted by the Colts with the final pick of the 2012 draft. The final pick of the draft gets dubbed the name Mr. Irrelevant and Harnish would certainly be considered that when you factor in the Colts also made the first pick of the draft, Andrew Luck...
All-22 Analysis - Evaluating the Colts Defense, Week 6.
After an uplifting victory against the Packers in Week 5, the Colts travelled to Metlife Stadium in order to take on the Jets, a mediocre football team with some severe injury issues. The outlook from all and sundry was positive - we had started making plays on defense, which combined with the outstanding player we have at the QB position led to knee-jerk reactions with regards to...
Indianapolis Colts: Looking for Luck in Waynes World
There was never a question about whose team this was, but you still need a little Luck.
With Reggie Wayne off to one of the hottest starts of his career, it’s Andrew Luck who is the top benefactor of the Wayne experience. The rookie QB out of Stanford has enjoyed three 300+ yard games this season, which is only five games young, due to the consistency of Reggie. Coming into the...
Colts waive QB Harnish, sign TE Saunders
The Indianapolis Colts waived rookie quarterback Chandler Harnish and linebacker Jerry Brown, while signing former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Weslye Saunders. Tight end Dominique Jones was released from the practice squad. Harnish was the final pick of the draft in April, known as "Mr. Irrelevant," and has been inactive for the Colts' first five games this season...
Rapoza: Players We Expected More From
It's been an up and down month for the Colts, but it's a good time to look back on ... well, players not really holding their own. Kyle Rapoza's article isn't about pointing fingers due to a loss, but rather, about players who should have been better this year but haven't been. The last game may have exposed their weaknesses, but (for the most part), I agree with...
Colts LB Dwight Freeney To Have An Ankle Issue All Year?
Dwight Freeney told Indianapolis media hes definitely playing Sunday against Cleveland.
He had some good moments in the Packers game, but last week against the Jets it looked like the ankle that he injured in the Colts first game that forced him to sit out the teams second and third games was hampering him.
He was asked if he was down to 70 percent by the end of the game...
Matchup Spotlight: How will the Colts stop Trent Richardson?
The Browns are one of the league's worst teams through six weeks, but they're trending up with an upset win over Cincinnati last week.
But, with an utter lack of talent on the roster, the future success of the Browns lies in their run game and highly touted rookie running back Trent Richardson and the Cleveland running game. The rookie hasn't been particularly effective...
Browns Vs Colts Could Turn Into The Cooper & Gordon Show
The Cleveland Browns have gotten some good performance out of the man they took in the supplemental draft this past July. Josh Gordon has done nothing but good things since joining the Browns. He now leads the Browns in receptions and has three touchdowns including a 71 yard pass from Weeden last week which he was able to reel in with one hand. Gordon has shown some speed with his...
IndyStar's Injury Report: 6 Players Ruled Out - Angerer Hoping to Play
How about some daily links?
Mike Chappell, of The Indianapolis Star has a quick rundown of who all has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Browns. There is, however, some encouraging news about tackle machine Pat Angerer:
Angerer is expected to be eased back into the base defense.“There’s no way he can go play 60 plays,’’ Arians said. “It’s not really...
Chappell: Trent in Town
Most Colts fans haven't been paying too much attention to Trent Richardson; I have, because he's the only real star on either of my fantasy teams. Point is, this guy's good. Most running backs on terrible teams are pushed too far, not able to tap into their potential at all; Richardson leads the Browns in rushing and receptions. Heck, one good game at QB and he could...
