Week 13 Ride ‘Em Or Hide ‘Em RBs
You don’t need me to tell you to start Arian Foster, Ray Rice, or Adrian Peterson…my mom could figure that out. Let’s look at some other matchups that could be favorable this week:
Juan’s Running The Rock With
Jamaal Charles vs Car
The Panthers run D was trashed by the speedy Brown last week and this week faces another back that they will be chasing all day. The Chiefs need to get him 20 touches this week and JC Superstar should have a monster game.
Trent Richardson @ Oak
Oakland’s D won’t be any tackling clinics this offseason and Richardson is one of the hardest guys to tackle in he NFL, so good luck Oak.
Bryce Brown @ Dal
Dallas is better against the pass than run and the Eagles want to keep the ball out of Foles hands. Brown is explosive and could be in line for another big game.
Mikel Leshoure vs Ind
Leshoure is not really that special, but he is getting the job done over the last 4 weeks. The Colts have allowed 100 yards rushing in 8 of 11 games, so there is a good bet Mikel gets to triple digits rushing.
Beanie Wells @ NYJ
Wells looked decent on his return running the ball, but did manage to get into the endzone 2 times last week. The Jets have struggled big time against opposing RBs, so Wells has a good chance to score double digit points this week.
Jonathan Dwyer @ Bal
The Ravens are still struggling against the run and Dwyer is looking ‘the guy’ in he Steelers backfield. I have a feeling he gets it going this week.
Mike Tolbert @ KC
D-Will has looked like crap this season and with J-Stew out, I like Tolbert to be the best fantasy option this week. Deep sleeper.
Marcel Reece vs Cle
Reece has been really good as the starter in Oak and will remain the lead back even with DMC returning. A sneaky start in PPR leagues.
DeAngelo Williams @ KC
As stated above, D-Will is no longer the guy who went nuts a few years back. He looks sluggish and no where near a guy I want in my lineup even in a favorable matchup.
Darren McFadden vs Cle
DMC will most likely be eased back into the lineup and Reece will remain the lead back for Oak. I want to see him perform before I feel good about putting him back in my lineup.
Ryan Mathews vs Cin
Mathews has been a major disappointment this season and the Bengals D has been very good as of late. He should be benched if you have to better options.
Knowshon Moreno vs TB
Knowshon did pretty good last week, but the Bucs have been pretty good against opposing RBs. The Broncos only have 1 rushing TD in their last 4 games and this game could be all Peyton.
BEST OF MAXIM
Yup, Sports Friends might be our favorite new thing ont he web. With Ray Lewis injured, Ray Rice asks Joe Flacco to give the team’s pre-game speeches.
Any NFL team has its share of crazed fans, whether it’s the guy that dresses like the team’s mascot for every home game, or wears nothing but team colors all week at work, or the guys that constantly harass anyone wearing another team’s colors. After reading a lot and browsing through friend’s posts on Facebook I’ve come to realize there are four main points people make...
Beat writer Jeff McLane says rookie RB Bryce Brown “did a better job of hitting the hole” than LeSean McCoy.Brown’s 23 touch, 189 yard and two touchdown breakout performance on Monday night was not a fluke. The former No. 1 high school player in the country attacked the hole with vigor and got downhill in a hurry. The two fumbles he lost were careless and can be corrected by...
Season 3, Episode 49 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start by talking about the Ray Rice incident with the Terrible Terrible from two weeks ago after hearing his side of the story. Was Rice respecting the towel instead of disrespecting it? We invite your comments on this as well. We also both agree that it really doesn't feel like "Ravens Weeks...
Up until this past Monday night, the only real hatred towards Andy Reid was coming from Philadelphia Eagles fans. But after Bryce Brown racked up 178 yards and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers, Reid can add fantasy owners to the list. The Eagles are notorious for wanting to throw the ball. So much so, that LeSean McCoy could be arguably be perceived as a better wide receiver...
As the Ravens prepare for Steelers Week Part Two, one of their players won a weekly award for his performance last week.
Running back Ray Rice has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, according to reports. Rice single-handedly helped the Ravens win against the Chargers because of his conversion on 4th-and-29 last Sunday afternoon.
And now for the injury report.
Despite never considering the implications of the products hilarious name, the Jacksonville Jaguars have begun to sell team towels known as a “Jag Rag” (Credit: Dead Spin)
In case you have not had enough news about NFL towels recently, we have one more. From Ray Rice “disrespecting” the Pittsburgh Steelers terrible towel to LaMarr Woodley “warning” Ray Rice over his treatment...
Fantasy owners are faced with numerous difficult choices at running back in this final week of the regular season.
- Do you trust DeMarco Murray or Darren McFadden in their return to the field?
- Do you dare dive into the Pittsburgh backfield after last week's eight-turnover debacle?
- Are you fearful of Marshawn Lynch and Matt Forte in a battle of NFC playoff hopefuls?
For many of us life is about to become a little bittersweet. The regular season of fantasy football is about to come to an end for a lot of us. Now, there is a portion that have playoff spots locked up and are just biding their time till the post-season. While others are completely out of it and are just looking to wreck our friends (or enemies) seasons. However, there is a huge...

When asked about rookie RB David Wilson this week, coach Tom Coughlin said, “it’s his time.”

Aaron Rodgers once again...
This Sunday, in NFL Week 13’s late afternoon headliner, the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens have the opportunity to all but lock up first place in the AFC North division by knocking off the 6-5 Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Ravens look to cap off an undefeated three-game stretch, which has been described as the most difficult part of their schedule. They...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. It had been 1,178 days since the last 100-yard rushing effort, 168 weeks, three years and change. The last time Bryce Brown hit the century mark in a game September 5, 2009 the Black Eyed Peas sat atop the Billboard pop singles chart ("I Gotta Feeling"), with Miley Cyrus nipping right at their heels.
"I was excited, I've got to be honest,"...
Week 12 is in the books. Thankfully is was a bit more predictable than what week 11 was. With my prediction mojo back on track, I’m happy to give you my top 5 fantasy RB’s of week 13

The only reason I’d be hesitant to start Charles this week is because of the inconsistency of carries he’s given. When he does...
