I hope everyone is ready for a great Thanksgiving, and that includes a great slate of three Thursday games. We get to see Tony Romo try to lose another Thanksgiving game for the Cowboys, what more can you ask for? I also think the Texans lose to the Lions as they are coming off an Overtime game, have to travel to Detroit on a short week and have a division road game to look ahead to. If this happens it will inevitably lead to the media asking what has happened to the Texans. In reality, last week almost losing to the Jaguars was pretty bad but this is just a terrible scheduling spot for them. They are still an elite team. Now onto the waiver wire additions. As always, these players are available in 50%+ of Yahoo! Leagues:
Ryan Fitzpatrick – BUF @ IND (46% Owned)
With all the bye weeks over, I would only suggest starting Fitzpatrick if you have injuries or a deep league. That being said, I think he is the best option of all Quarterbacks that are available in more than 50% of Yahoo! Leagues. The Colts Defense has the third worst Adjusted Yards per Attempt in the NFL. The Bills will focus on getting Spiller touches but Fitz will have no problem passing on this defense when needed.
Ryan Broyles – DET vs. HOU (19% Owned)
Titus Young is in the doghouse, and will be benched on Turkey Day. That gives the youngster, Broyles, a chance to shine. The Texans might are in a big letdown spot here, so look for the Lions to sneak out a victory, and Broyles to grab a few catches in the process.
T.Y. Hilton – IND @ NE (36% Owned)
See Last Week. Hilton is still a gamebreaker and still involved in the pass-heavy offense of Andrew Luck. Still available in way too many leagues.
Ronnie Hillman – DEN @ KC (45% Owned)
Hillman is the youngest player in the NFL, and will now be taking over full responsibilities with McGahee out for the year. Hillman is the biggest pickup of the week. Go get him now if he is somehow still available. I expect his ownership to be over 75% by next week.
Jalen Parmele – JAX vs. TEN (33% Owned)
Parma-Who? Exactly. This guy came out of nowhere but it looks like he’s here to stay. The Jaguars have a relatively easy schedule to end the season so he is definitely worth a stash and save.
Dwayne Allen -IND @ JAX (12% Owned)
Another week, same Tight End. Third week in a row for Allen. There aren’t a lot of Tight Ends worth owning that are available in the majority of leagues. That is why Allen keeps getting my rec. The Colts should throw for 260+ and Tight Ends have a lot of success in Home victories. Start Allen with confidence.
St. Louis Defense vs. NYJ (32% Owned)
If you read last weeks column then you know my Rams defense was pretty solid last week. Now they get to face the Arizona “offense”, sign me up again.

Cowboys' playoff hopes getting dark
ARLINGTON, Texas When the Cowboys led the Redskins, 3-0, in the first quarter Thursday, the skies were blue through the open roof at Cowboys Stadium.
Then dark clouds rolled in and a light rain began. Even if you're not into omens, it was pretty spooky that the darkness coincided with the Redskins taking the control of the game.

Cowboys playing with fire to throw deep
As the Cowboys navigate past the 10 game barrier in their season and in to the stretch drive, we now have enough data to begin to learn about this team based on what they do well and more importantly, it seems, what they don't do well at all.
We know that this team has the fewest 10 play drives in the NFL. Of the Cowboys 112 drives, only 11 have lasted 10 plays. That is lower...

Jerry Jones Pleased with the Cowboys O-Line
I’m not sure what Jerry Jones was looking at on Sunday, but I have to chalk his latest statements up to optimism and the joy of his Dallas Cowboys escaping Sunday with a win against the Cleveland Browns.
Whatever the reason was, Jones was in a complimentary mood Sunday evening. While addressing the media Sunday, Jones blurted out that he was more than pleased with the performance...
