In the end, they just couldn't contain "The Rhino." Second-year guard Chad Rinehart today emerged as the winner in the battle to replace injured right guard Randy Thomas, edging out third-year guard-center Will Montgomery. Rinehart will make his first career appearance and start Sunday against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. "Rhino," Coach Jim Zorn announced into a microphone after practice at Redskins Park. "I told both those guys this morning. Had 'em both in my office and they're good. ... He's going to be our starter and he's not going to look behind his back. He's going to go." Rinehart, a third-round draft pick in 2008, started two games in the preseason and took all the first-team reps in the offseason while Thomas -- who was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list Tuesday because of a triceps injury suffered against the St. Louis Rams -- recovered from neck
