Summerall’s 10-year playing career was highlighted by a three-year stint with the New York Giants, in which he participated in the 1958 NFL Championship Game, also known as the ‘Greatest Game Ever Played.’  His best season was in 1959 where he connected on all 30 of his PATs, and hit 20 of 29 field goals.
