Rob Gronkowski made good use out of the $55 million contract extension he received in June.
The Patriots’ tight end purchased a $1.6 million mansion in Tampa, according to TMZ. The house has a view of the water and three outdoor entertainment areas. That sounds perfect for a notorious partier like Gronk. The four-bedroom, five-bath house also features an infinity pool, spa, surround sound throughout the house and built-in fish tanks.
Gronk was having another monster season before getting stalled by a broken forearm against the Colts. He has 53 receptions, 748 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.
Check out photos of Gronk’s new pad below, and head over to TMZ.com to see more of the new crib. Something tells us the house won’t look so tidy after Gronk is through with it.

New England Patriots defensive end Jermaine Cunningham has been suspended by the NFL for four games without pay for violating its policy on performance-enhancing substances.
The league's announcement Monday did not specify the substance. The Patriots had no immediate reaction.

Stevan Ridley is having a breakout season. It certainly looks like the New England Patriots have found a gem in the 23-year-old runner. I shared some statistics about a month ago that prove he's one of the best backs in the NFL this season, but are we ready to call him elite just yet? Christopher Price of WEEI.com seems to think so.When you start putting together a short list...

The New England Patriots have the best offense in the NFL. The offense's supporting cast is pretty good, too. Forget all the yards given up, because the defense gets it done when and where it counts. New England has recorded a ridiculous plus-24 tally in turnover differential, thanks to the defense's 32 takeaways and the offense's ability to protect the football. ...
Milan Lucic and Rob Gronkowski both seem like fun fellas.
But, considering the rambunctious nature of the two — and their comparative ability to destroy things — maybe it’s better to not have them hanging out together, OK?
Case in point is this tweet from Lucic showing him and Gronk. Now, Gronkowski just broke his forearm on Sunday, remember — and he appears to already be...
Last week I detailed a plan on Twitter for fantasy owners who lost Rob Gronkowski. Instead of trying to a multiple-week replacement for Gronk, I argued that fantasy owners should instead stream tight ends much like many owners do with defenses.
After one week of streaming tight ends, I’m 1-for-2 in Gronk leagues.
My suggestions last week were to pick up and start Dustin Keller...
