According to Ron Borges of the Boston Herald, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has suffered a set back with his recovery of a broken arm. Gronkowski is battling an infection in the arm and could require another surgery to treat it. Borges writes: 'According to multiple sources familiar with the situation, tight end Rob Gronkowski has been battling a stubborn infection in the area around where a second metal plate was installed to repair his broken left forearm and his readiness for the season is in jeopardy. Gronkowski is nearing the end of a six-week cycle of antibiotic treatments administered under the auspices of Massachusetts General Hospital, but it is not yet assured the infection has been completely eradicated. Doctors treating Gronkowski will have to go back into the arm again to remove the plate and install a new one, but if they find more infected tissue, they would be unable to install the plate at that time. That would require another surgical procedure ...

2013 NFL Draft: New England Patriots Team Needs

The New England Patriots didn’t do too much to bolster their roster with new talent on the open market, but the club did a rock-solid job of retaining its own players over the last four weeks in 2013 NFL Free Agency.  Let’s take a look at the Patriots’ updated team needs entering the 2013 NFL Draft (in no particular order). NFL Draft Talk 2013 – New England Patriots

The talk of NFL Free Agency this offseason was “Will Wes Welker return to New England?”, which quickly morphed into “How will the Patriots replace Wes Welker?” Wide Receiver depth has never really been a strong point of this team.  When they were dominating teams in the regular season and playoffs (beat you all to the joke), they were doing it with the likes of Deion Branch...

Patriots to draft a wide receiver?

Even though the New England Patriots signed Danny Amendola this offseason, Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com believes they’ll likely come out of this year’s draft with a wide receiver. Whether it’s in the first, second or third round, I think it’s clear that the Patriots need to come out of the 2013 draft with a receiver. That, to me, is the most compelling storyline for the club...

The two are currently teammates for the New England Patriots...

Infections can be a serious thing post-surgery, it is one of the things that doctors always warn you about, because if something does get infected, you have to basically have the same surgery all over again. Doctors thought they got all of GRONK’s infection out after his 3rd surgery on his forearm, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski ”very...
