By now, most have seen the now-infamous video of a shirtless Rob Gronkowski shaking his money-maker minutes after the Patriots lost Super Bowl XLVI. The decision to party like it’s 1999 drew a ton of criticism, most notably from ex-Patriot Rodney Harrison, who chalked his antics up to “immaturity.” In an interview with 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, Gronk opened up about that fateful night, saying it was just some good ole-fashioned fun. “Unfortunately, I mean, it just happened like that. It just is what it is,” Gronkowski said. “I had a lot of fun with my family, and that was the first time I got to see them in awhile. We were just having fun with my brothers, friends I hadn’t seen in a while. The chance of hanging out with LMFAO, that was pretty cool too. Unfortunately we didn’t win and that was the No. 1 goal.”

Gronk spikes puck at AHL hockey game

Gotta give Rob Gronkowski credit for being a man of his word and not backing out of his puck-spiking gig at last night’s Worcester Sharks game. There was Gronk, cast on his ankle from his recent surgery, spiking a puck on one leg after being driven to center ice while sitting on the tailgate of a truck. Can’t really blame the guy for showing up even with injury when he only...

Gronkowski, who had surgery two weeks ago, said he'll be ready in time for the 2012 season. However, he wasn't sure when he could ditch the cast and crutches. "It's good...

TE Gronkowski defends post-Super Bowl dancing

Rob Gronkowski didn't wish to dance around the subject any longer. Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome, former star TE, raves about Rob Gronkowski’s season

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome is lauded now for his personnel acumen, but before all this, he was a record-setting tight end at Alabama and with the Browns. So, of course the Hall of Famer is a perfect person to ask about the insane season that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski had. When the topic of Gronkowski’s 90-catch, 1,327-yard, 17 TD season was broached, Newsome smiled broadly. “Well...

Few quality TEs in 2012 Draft

When it comes to NFL tight ends, something doesn't add up. The position has never had more value in a passing offense than in 2011. New England fielded the most prolific tight-end combination (Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez) in NFL history. Fifteen others caught at least 50 passes, led by New Orleans' Jimmy Graham with 99. Vernon Davis also was the hero in San Francisco...
