It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
Patriots tight end has been known to take things a bit over the edge for entertainment purposes. While playing a slumber party-esque game during a lecture at the University of Rhode Island, Gronk lived up to his reputation.
The name of the game he was playing can’t be said here, but it’s commonly known on American sitcoms as “boff, marry, kill.” Players are given three names and have to choose one to kill, one to marry and one with which to have coitus. In this case, the names given to Gronkowski were: Rex Ryan, Betty White and Tim Tebow.
Gronk will have access to Tebow twice a year now that they’re in the same division. It’s a good thing they won’t be on the field at the same time. Wouldn’t need these guys diving into the same pile.
Propers to @JimmyTraina for the video…I guess and to Deadspin for the pic

Kevin Faulk wants to come back to Patriots
Let me start by saying the above photo is a fan-made photoshop mock up of a red Pats alternate. I’ve always thought it looked pretty cool.
Mary Paoletti of CSNNE reports today that Kevin Faulk is training with a return to the Patriots in mind. Doesn’t mean the Patriots want him back, but he’s now two full years removed from his ACL...
With the 27th pick in the 2012 Cincy Jungle Mock Draft, Anthony Knox selected for the New England Patriots, who earned their pick by giving their first-round pick in 2011 draft to the Saints so they could select running back Mark Ingram in the first round.

Earlier this week, we received an idea from a reader through the suggestion box on our mobile app. It read “did [you] know that [New England Patriots wide receiver] Brandon Lloyd does rap songs?
Being both a sports writer and someone that was a music editor/music writer for over 14 years, the initial reaction was a simple eye roll. Rappers that ball are historically very bad...
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker made an appearance on NFL Total Access on the NFL Network (via the Boston Herald) and was asked if he’s unhappy that the franchise tag was placed on him.
“It’s a lot of money (laughing) How can you ever be upset about that? It’s more than half of what my last contract was over five years. So one year, $9.5 (million) – it’s...
According to Tom Curran of CSNNE.com, both the New England Patriots and wide receiver Wes Welker haven’t made any progress towards getting a long-term deal worked out.
The Patriots begin their offseason workouts on Monday and since Welker hasn’t signed his franchise tender, he won’t be able to participate.
Welker believes he should be paid like a premiere receiver after leading...
Linebacker Gary Guyton's down year in 2011 turned out to be the end of his four-season tenure with the Patriots. Guyton agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Friday, according to a source. After the season, Guyton and the Patriots had a mutual decision to part ways. Guyton, who went undrafted in 2008, emerged as a quality role player who performed well as a starter,...
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New England Patriots are re-signing center Dan Koppen.
Albert Breer of the NFL Network has confirmed that Koppen and the Patriots have agreed to a two-year deal.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be very happy to know Koppen will be back, since he’s one of his best friends on the team.
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker, will likely sign his franchise tender and play out this season under the tag.
Welker will make just over $9 million for the 2012 season under the franchise tag, which is a lot more than he’s made during any year of his career so far.

All he had to do was ask, just inquire and maybe he wouldn’t be in this mess. Sean Payton is a good friend of Bill Belichick. In the 2010 preseason, they had their teams practice for a week together and share a lot of coaching notes.
What didn’t get shared were Belichick's “Goodell notes,” and that was a big mistake.
In 2007, Bill Belichick was caught on what is...
