The Patriots’ injury report says there’s a 50-50 chance we see Rob Gronkowski play this week.
The Patriots’ All-Pro tight end is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. He was listed as doubtful in Week 1 and 2.
Danny Amendola is doubful with his groin injury, which means there’s a 25 percent chance he plays. Matthew Slater is the only player listed as out.
Zach Sudfeld is probable after being a full participant at practice all week with a hamstring injury. Brandon Bolden (knee), Dan Connolly (finger), Nate Ebner (ankle), Will Svitek (knee) and Leon Washington (thigh) are listed as questionable.

According to ben Volin of the Boston Globe, tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) and wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin) were limited at Wednesday’s practice. Amendola, Gronk, Bolden officially Limited today. Slater and Cole DNP. Sudfeld full participation — Ben Volin (@BenVolin) September 18, 2013 I can’t imagine right now that Amendola and Gronk will both play this week. Gronk...
I wanted to put off this preview for as long as possible, to see if Rob Gronkowski (questionable) or Danny Amendola (doubtful) would be definite locks to play this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as either player, even hobbled, would give a big boost to what has been a decidedly struggling offense. Tom Brady and his receivers, outside of Julian Edelman, have been out of...
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola completely tore the adductor longus tendon in his groin in the team's Week 1 victory over the Buffalo Bills two league sources told Yahoo Sports. And it might be the best thing for the Patriots that he did.
Doctors often treat chronic groin pain by snipping the adductor longus – one of the muscles in the groin – from the...

The New England Patriots are hosting the 0-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in rainy conditions later this afternoon. New England could use all the help they can get at the receiver position but it appears that two of their top offensive weapons might not see the field this afternoon.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) is officially out for Week 3.Fantasy Spin:Gronk is definitely getting close and should be back in the lineup next week against the Falcons. Michael Hoomanawanui will get the start at tight end Sunday versus Tampa Bay.
Rob Gronkowski has spent much more time on the sideline over the last calendar year than the Patriots would prefer.
The tight end missed seven games last season (including playoffs), and he has been a spectator for the first two contests of the 2013 campaign. His status for Sunday’s matchup against Tampa Bay remains unclear — Gronkowski repeatedly referred to himself as “day...
FOXBORO, Mass. — It’s still unlikely that Rob Gronkowski plays on Sunday against the Buccaneers, but he’s been participating in practice since the end of training camp.

DON'T WORRY STUDFELD'S BACK!
No surprises really on the Patriots injury report.
They will likely head into Sunday's matchup with the Bucs down one Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola. At least they'll have Zach Sudfeld though!
Matthew Slater ruled out, Danny Amendola doubtful for Sunday, Patriots say. Sudfeld probable. Gronkowski, 5 others are questionable.
The Patriots list TE Rob Gronkowski (back) as questionable for Week 3.Fantasy Spin:He's definitely getting close, but ProFootballTalk.com reported this week that Gronk is closer to doubtful than questionable. Fantasy owners should monitor the situation and have another tight end option ready for this week.
As each day goes on, news keeps coming out reassuring Patriots fans that All-Pro Rob Gronkowski will soon be returning. The only question remaining is, how soon? Well the tightend himself had this to say:
“So far, there’s really nothing new to report. I’m just day-to-day and progressing every week,” Gronkowski said. “I’m just improving every week, feeling good every...
