One of the things that make Rob Gronkowski so loveable is that we all know somebody like him. He is that big, goofy teddy bear we all know who turns out to be a great guy beneath that superficial "bro" persona.
Thankfully, the man is making a name for himself outside the white lines of the gridiron, and America continues to be entertained.
This week, Gronkowski took his talents to Fox for their cheesy, derivative dating show The Choice, where celebrities sit backwards in chairs listening blindly to pitches from potential suitors for a date.
Gronkowski's participation led to a couple of laugh-out-loud moments from the New England Patriots tight end.
The first occurred when one of the contestants appears to speak Gronk's language after revealing her extensive knowledge of foreign languages. Words cannot describe the humor of Gronk's reaction, and only a video of the exchange will do it justice.
His desperate attempt to pull the lever upon hearing the news is comedy gold and Gronk at his finest.
Finally, when called up on stage to make his "final choice" between two contestants, Gronkowski proceeded to fake the first one out before finally choosing Elle. Gronk apparently broke a few hearts, as one contestant angrily referred to him as a "frat boy" after taping.
Gronkowski's competition on the show included Rob Kardashian, comedian Finesse Mitchell and Olympian Steven Lopez.
No matter his escapades off the field, Patriots fans are reminded time and time again how lucky they are that the Pats were Gronkowski's choice on draft day. That time there were no fake-outs.
