PLAYERS:
Adam Schefter
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III is in Washington today, meeting with the Redskins for a pre-draft visit.
Girffin isn’t allowed to work out for the Redskins, but visiting them will give him an oppurtunity to check out their team facility and for the Redskins to get to know him more on a personal level before the draft.
We know Griffin won’t work out for the Colts, but right now there’s no indication as to whether or not he’ll visit them.

Adam Schefter Redeems ESPN With The Tweet of the Day
Earlier today I ranted rather strongly about ESPN, wondering aloud if this is the most sad, pathetic day in the network’s history. (In case you aren’t aware of the two sad, pathetic events that occurred today, read up.)
But I am not anti-ESPN or the sake of being anti-ESPN. So when the network or someone associated with it does something noteworthy, I will also call attention...
Aubreyo Franklin visiting the Seahawks
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, free agent defensive tackle Aubreyo Franklin is visiting the Seattle Seahawks today.
Franklin played with the New Orleans Saints in 2011, but diddn’t seem to have the same effect he did with the 49ers the previous four seasons.
The 31 year-old Franklin will now look to pro-long his NFL career elsewhere, and that could end up being Seattle...

Being one of our favorite shows on television, we were disappointed when HBO's Hard Knocks became the victim of the NFL's prolonged labor unrest. While most NFL teams are ranking players...

Adam Schefter ponders the Madden Curse’s effect on Peytons everywhere (PIC)
Today’s deep thought comes to us via Adam Schefter’s Twitter, where he wondered aloud whether the infamous Madden Curse might be stronger than ever:
(via Twitter.com)
Mind = Blown.
It really makes you wonder why anyone would ever want to be on the cover of Madden at this point … let alone campaign for it like Rob Gronkowski did this off-season.
Fortunately for Pats fans, Gronkowski...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace doesn’t plan on signing his restricted free agent tender, so he won’t be attending OTA’s next week.

Report: HBO Offers Falcons This Season's 'Hard Knocks' Role
Everyone wanted to see the New York Jets featured once again this year on Hard Knocks. Apparently, HBO has different plans. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that HBO has offered the Atlanta Falcons the starring role for the wildly popular series which follows an NFL team throughout its training camp. That doesn't mean that the Falcons will accept, but it does give a pretty substantial...

NFL magazine dies after just 4 issues
The print news/magazine industry is in poor shape, and it's a dying industry. That's why I, along with nearly everyone else with a computer and an internet connection, was shocked when the NFL introduced its official print magazine late last year, and it comes as no surprise that the magazine is making a quiet exit.
The failure of an NFL run venture is in and of itself surprising...
