After his absence from Redskins Park extended two days, the team has finally got their hopeful franchise quarterback under contract.
On Wednesday, the Redskins signed Robert Griffin III to a fully guaranteed four-year, $21,119,098 deal, taking to Twitter to show him putting pen to paper.
RG3, aka Mr. Everywhere, becomes the first top-five draft selection to ink their deal, and will surely expedite the process for Colts No. 1 pick Andrew Luck.
Now that the pact is signed, sealed, and delivered, Griffin can join his teammates for rookie training camp practices, which began Monday. He'll need to get the work in before camp officially kicks off on July 26, and already seems eager to do so.
