Robert Griffin III is on top of the world right now. He’s been in all the commercials, he’s bringing the Washington Redskins away from mediocrity and has a shot at winning the Rookie of the Year and even the MVP award.
Now some people are going to new heights by labeling RGIII as “Black Jesus”, “the Messiah” or that he runs Washington D.C. Griffin may not necessarily want to run D.C. on a full-time basis, but he says he would like to play President Barack Obama in a game of basketball.
“He just talked about how good of a player I was, and I challenged him to game of basketball,” Griffin told Yahoo! News. “He said he wouldn’t play me but I could play on his team.”
“I don’t think he’ll ever play against me. We’ll have it me and him versus Brittney Griner and Mrs. Obama.”
Stay focused, be patient and keep winning games young man, and you’ll get your game.

“You can definitely sense it. Late in the game against the Cowboys, [linebacker] London [Fletcher] came up and talked to me during the game, which he usually never talks to me during the game. I think he’s in his own world as well. You can feel the excitement they have about what we have brewing here. You want to do it for them. When I was in college, I wanted to do it for the...

X's and O's of football are often times discussed without solution. That is why when something makes as much sense as Robert Griffin III matching up with a Mike Shanahan offense, we should all salute a team that can pull it off. In June, we spent quite a bit of time explaining why this should be a major fear for the Cowboys and all other NFC East foes, and those threats were...
