According to NFL.com, Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams and quarterback Robert Griffin III exchanged a private conversation that is now public in which Griffin expressed some concern over his knee after scoring a first quarter touchdown during last week’s game. The conversation will air on the NFL Network’s SoundFX, on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET: Williams: Are you sure you’re all right, bro? RG3: Yeah, I’m going to be safe. Williams: You tweaked it when you were trying to back up? RG3: Yeah, my foot kind of went wah-wah. Williams: Did that shock you a little bit? RG3: Yeah, scared the (expletive) out of me (laughs). Williams: All right, be smart. RG3: I will. I promise.   • OK. So here is what troubles me. NO, I repeat, NO career is worth one ball game. The "SKINS" went from worst to best in one season. That alone was one great accomplishment. Prior to that they had drafted one of, if not "THE", best player to come into the league! He was hurt and everyone, including the head coach, knew he was hurt - not in the 4th quarter but in the 1st quarter. Think about it, RG got the ball twice, scored twice, and was reinjured during the touchdown. The intelligent thing to do was to put COUSINS in the game. He had proven previously that he is more than capable of getting the job done. With a 14-0 lead and a defense that looked GREAT, Cousins may well have led them to a playoff victory. To put him in when the game was over and expect him to create a miracle was too much to ask for. Now, we must all wait to see how long it will take RG to rehabilitate that leg. He is athletic and a fantastic quarterback but only time will tell. "RG, I know you have the ability to beat the injury but also know that I want you to be a SKIN for a long time to come. Please don't go back on the field til you know you are healthy and ready to win the Super Bowl, I know you will!!!" GO SKINS
