Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has yet to face a team's defense for the second time this season.   On Monday, Griffin will finally see a team for the second time, but he isn't concerned the New York Giants will be better prepared for him. “Yeah, it’s always different the second time,” Griffin said via The Washington Post. “They’ve kind of gotten a feel for the way we play, and we have a feel for the way they play, and it’s a matter of who shows up Monday night. I just know they’ll come with something different. Every team does. No team will necessarily play you the same way they played you the first time. A team’s base defense is their base defense. That won’t change. They’ll usually have a wrinkle in there, and when we see it, it’s about adjusting on the fly.” Griffin completed 20 of 28 passes for 258 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in their first meeting, which the Giants won 27-23.   Griffin said the Redskins are a different team from six weeks ago, and the Giants will have to prepare for an even more dangerous offense with the return of wide receiver Pierre Garcon.   “I feel like we’re hitting things we weren’t hitting early in the year. We’re able to do things we weren’t able to,” Griffin said. “Our receivers are playing at a high level. Offensive line and Alfred are doing a good job running the ball as well. The things they faced in us last time with the running game, it’s still there. But we’ve added elements in the passing game that make us more dangerous. They’ll prepare for that, and we’ll see what happens.” The Redskins are coming off two of their best offensive games this season with wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.  Griffin posted a passer rating of 146.1 during the two game stretch.   We shall see Monday night if the Giants defense is prepared for the Redskins. Mon, Dec. 3 Giants at Redskins FedExField

  • I think every Redskins fan should be very impressed with the progress of our team. Yes we still have a long way to go and much improvement needs to be made with our defense, but all in all it a far cry from the last 19 years! We will make the playoffs and show just how far our beloved team has come! 'GO 'SKINS' AND BEAT THE G-MEN!
