Washington QB Robert Griffin III is participating in Thursday’s practice, according to Mike Jones.
Griffin reportedly was “a little more aggressive” planting on his injured knee, which obviously a great sign for Week 15 status.
Last night, Griffin mentioned that he feels “really good” about playing on Sunday.
“If I can give the team the best chance to win, then I’ll play,” Griffin said, via the Associated Press. ”And if I can ensure my safety out there and my health and my career, then I’ll go out there and play.“
It’s by no means a guarantee that Griffin will play on Sunday, but it is worth noting that everything has looked positive since he put in a limited practice on Wednesday. We’ll continue to monitor the situation in the coming days.
