Robert Henson, the Washington Redskins linebacker who tweeted that fans who booed the lackluster 9-7 win over the St. Louis Rams were "dim wits", has taken down his Twitter account, proving once again that Twitter, like smoking cigarettes, is terrible for us even though we don't know it yet. Look at the comparisons: - People smoked cigarettes without understanding the effect on their bodies for years, until finally the information was "released" that they caused a variety of health problems (which, duh). - People tweet multiple times every day without considering the effect it will have on their social lives. - Tweets are usually as uninteresting and poorly-considered as cigarettes. - People are addicted to them. - You are able to tweet anywhere, just like how you used to be able to smoke anywhere. - Anyone can tweet. (Anyone can smoke, too, as long as they have an older brother who works at a gas station.) - Everybody's doin' it. Which worked...
