The Patriot way only involves the members of the team that call the locker room home, apparently. While Bill Belichick and his minions have essentially stifled the media with quick, nondescript answers about the acquisition of Tim Tebow to the New England Patriots, team owner Robert Kraft gave them exactly what they were looking for. While speaking at a charity event honoring his late wife, Kraft gave an inkling of a reason that Tebow was brought to the team that seemingly didn’t need him. Via the NY Post “For me personally, having Tim Tebow on this team, he’s someone who believes in spirituality, he’s very competitive, works hard and has a great attitude.” “He’s a winner, and the fact that spirituality is so important to him is very appealing to me.” Kraft added that Tebow’s devoutness to his religion helped to sign him. “You can’t have enough good people around you, and [Tebow] has the added dimension of spirituality being so important to him, and that personally appeals to me a lot,” Kraft said.
