Found May 12, 2012 on Win My Fantasy League:
The Seahawks landed one of the drafts most impressive power backs in Robert Turbin. Owner of a 4.50 40-time at 222 lbs, Turbin has an impressive power and speed blend especially when considering he paced all running backs with 28 bench press reps at the combine, something usually reserved for smaller backs. Turbin is impressive on film and screams lead back in a committee but that will not be the case as long as Marshawn Lynch is healthy. Already nicknamed Beast Mode Jr. after Lynch, Turbin has a chance to become something special within a short-time. Fantasy Analysis: Marshawn Lynch – Beast Mode is firmly entrenched as the starter and is a solid low-end RB1 in 2012. Lynch will be the lead back in a 70/30 or 80/20 committee with Leon Washington and Robert Turbin, with Washington handling some of the third down work while Turbin gives Lynch breathers when needed. The addition of Matt Flynn should open things up for Lynch a little more as he beast’s his way to another 1,000 plus rushi...

Seahawks’ rookie Winston Guy could be a steal

Despite the fact that the Seattle Seahawks already have two good safeties in Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas, they drafted former Kentucky safety Winston Guy in the sixth round of this year’s draft. Despite being selected in the sixth round, the Seahawks coaches believe Guy can step in right away and serve as their nickel safety. “All those things where we used Atari, this kid...

Fantasy Football 2012: Deep Sleeper Alert-Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

The Seattle Seahawks selected University of Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, as his perceived physical limitations (5'11" tall) led to him falling down the draft some. The Seahawks definitely took the best player available at that stage, and it looked like Wilson would spend his rookie season on the bench while incumbent Tavaris...

Seattle rookies Wilson, Irvin get 1st day of work

Russell Wilson stepped in behind center for the first minicamp of his professional career on Friday and never left. The Seattle Seahawks are making sure they get a long look at Wilson this weekend while the Seahawks' veteran quarterbacks are not around. Most of the attention during the first day of Seattle's rookie minicamp was centered on Wilson, the talented, but undersized...

Russell Wilson will compete for the Seahawks starting quarterback job

Getty Images Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll made it clear that rookie third round quarterback Russell Wilson will compete with Matt Flynn and Tavaris Jackson in order to be the starting quarterback in 2012. “He’s showed us enough,” Carroll said. “He’s in the competition. And that is going to tax us, as you know. It was already going to be taxing with two. But...

Wagner looking to seize linebacker job

Seattle coach Pete Carroll has wanted the Seahawks to get faster on defense, especially at linebacker. With the addition of Bobby Wagner in the second round of the draft, Carroll hopes they've solved that issue. Wagner has been thrown into the fire during this weekend's rookie minicamp getting reps at middle linebacker as the Seahawks look to fill the hole left by David...

The New Fast And Furious Offseason

The hits just keep on coming this NFL offseason. Free agency started off with a bang, with the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, the Saints and bounty scandal, and the draft. The Seattle Seahawks have already signed nine of their ten draft picks, including first round pick Bruce Irvin, more on him later. What a difference a year makes huh? This time last year we, as fans, weren’t worried...

Draft Grades: Seattle Seahawks

For the second consecutive year, the Seattle Seahawks whiffed in the 1st round and demonstrated a complete lack of understanding as to how to effectively use the draft to rebuild a franchise. While the Seahawks have some talent, they’re headed in the wrong direction. I thought the selection of James Carpenter was bad last year, but Bruce Irvin may be worse. Not only was Irvin a...

The Draft Is Over, It's Time to Talk About Something Else

Today, the Seahawks are holding their rookie minicamp, and that means a lot of things.  For one, it means we have an actual offseason to look forward to this year.  Most years that wouldn’t be much of a reason for celebration, but after last season’s protracted lockout during the collective bargaining agreement negotiations I doubt any of us are going to be taking these camps...
