Running back Rock Cartwright has agreed to join the San Francisco 49ers on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cartwright will appeal to Head Coach Jim Harbaugh as he was a good leader in the locker room while a member of the Oakland Raiders, but will not hold much fantasy value behind stud Frank Gore and rising star Kendall Hunter in San Francisco. His special teams coverage skills is where he will carry his weight with the NFC West club.
