A fan on Twitter asked Atlanta Falcons WR, Roddy White, a simple question and White’s not so simple response led to a bit of controversy. A fan asked whether White would rather lead the league in statistical categories or win the Super Bowl and this led White to respond in an insensitive and head scratching manner. Following a quick backlash from fans and media, Roddy gave an apology which we can’t say seems to be the most genuine, or one that actually addresses the issue at hand. Not exactly the apology which will make people forget that first Tweet, huh? via B.R.   Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

Report: Atlanta offered 'Hard Knocks'

Can Matt Ryan Be an Elite QB?

An internal debate I've had with myself for a while now is whether or not Matt Ryan can be an elite quarterback in this league and whether or not the Falcons can will a championship if he's not. Can Ryan take that next step this season? I had the TV on SportsCenter this evening, as I was writing an article for my college football site, and the four-letter network had...

HBO has made an offer to the Atlanta Falcons to star in their latest season of their “Hard Knocks” series, according to multiple reports. No word as to whether or not the Falcons have accepted the offer, as some teams in the past have been hesitant to air their dirty laundry on television, while others have flourished with the opportunity. The last team to appear...

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to be featured in the next installment of HBO's "Hard Knocks," ESPN reported. HBO doesn't traditionally reveal the starring team until May. The New York Jets were thought to be the likely candidate for this year's show, especially with popular quarterback Tim Tebow joining the cast. According to FoxSports.com, coach Rex Ryan...

The Falcons Success (or lack of) Could Be All About Timing

The Falcons are hoping the timing of the Nolan and Koetter hires pay off We've all heard the great argument in the NFL, and other sports..."It's all about winning".  Balderdash!  Colin Cowherd of ESPN argued that it's nowhere near all about winning when it comes to your players, and who is on your team.  His contention is that "it's all about...

Report: HBO Offers Falcons This Season's 'Hard Knocks' Role

Everyone wanted to see the New York Jets featured once again this year on Hard Knocks. Apparently, HBO has different plans. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that HBO has offered the Atlanta Falcons the starring role for the wildly popular series which follows an NFL team throughout its training camp. That doesn't mean that the Falcons will accept, but it does give a pretty substantial...

Atlanta Falcons Mock Three Draft

A couple of our writers (Matt and Zach) teamed up with Alex from the Falcoholic website to take part in the recent Mock Three draft. If you don't know what the "Mock One" is it's a website that uses mock drafters for each team and they move through the draft making choices as if they were the GMs. Here is what our guys came up with as well as their comments about...

The Friday Blitz: Mock Draft 3 & Hard Knocks

It has been an intriguing last few days for the Atlanta Falcons, as everyone might have heard by now Atlanta has been offered to be the team followed on HBO’s Hard Knocks. After much consideration, I have finally come around to liking this idea... This will put a spotlight on a team that nobody (even the fan base) knows much about. Sure, we know the players but the Atlanta...
