Last night was emotional for a lot of people, but when you are a professional athlete with the following of Roddy White it might be better to not go overboard with your feelings.
After this tweet was RT’s thousands of time and Roddy was called out by just about everyone, he sent out another tweet.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White tweeted some inflammatory thoughts on the George Zimmerman verdict.
After last night’s not guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin case down in Florida, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White tweeted that the jury should go home and kill themselves.
Roughly 12 hours later, White apologized by posting the tweet below.
I understand my tweet last nite was extreme. I never meant for the people to do that. I was shocked and upset about the verdict. I am sorry...
Last night the United States' legal system sent shockwaves across the country when George Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges arising from the death of Travon Martin. Naturally, there were plenty of angry tweets. Falcons receiver Roddy White was among those outraged that took to Twitter.

Similar to Victor Cruz, Roddy White had an opinion on George Zimmerman being found innocent of the murder of Trayvon Martin.
Unlike Cruz, White was a little more graphic in what he wanted to happen.
I am going to assume he was speaking figuratively not literally, but it shows you the anger about the verdict has reached everybody including athletes.
Though Twitter is usually slow on a Saturday night in the middle of July, the George Zimmerman “not guilty” verdict drew the world to social media.
