Fantasy Football Champs:
Falcons receiver Roddy White is questionable for Monday's game but he should play after practicing fully Saturday.Fantasy Spin:White was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday but he was a full-go Saturday. Since the Falcons play on Monday night in Week 2, you're taking a gamble that White will play but it doesn't seem to be that large of a gamble at this point.
BEST OF MAXIM
Roddy White has not always used Twitter how the Atlanta Falcons would have liked. He has gotten into it with opposing players and fans. He has defended certain coaches who lost the respect of many people. he has even dropped some derogatory terms and certain slurs against different people. But finally, White is tweeting something that can be beneficial.
And more importantly, he is...
The Falcons came away with a huge win week 1, beating the Chiefs 40-24 to start the season. I know the Chiefs were missing their top two defenders, but the Falcons’ new offense was as advertised and it was a good win for them on the road, where they’ve had some recent trouble. Matt Ryan was 23 of 31 for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns. However, the win was not without losses.
Roddy White has tweeted that he expects to play tonight against the Broncos. This isn’t really breaking news, but his name has appeared on the injury report in consecutive weeks. I am not worried about his minor injuries and believe he will be a strong WR1 in most weeks.
Many White owners are concerned about the growth of Julio Jones, but Matt Ryan is slowly becoming the type of...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By CHARLES ODUM AP Sports Writer The Atlanta Falcons have embraced the no-huddle offense, and Matt Ryan thinks the master of the up-tempo attack will be on the other sideline Monday night.
Ryan says he has tried to pick up lessons on how to work the no-huddle by watching tapes of Denver quarterback Peyton Manning through his years with the Colts.
This matchup simply as the majority of fans foaming at the mouth, and nothing screams entertainment than Monday Night Football at the Atlanta Georgia Dome!
Matty “Ice” Ryan put on a clinic at Arrowhead Stadium in a 40-24 beatdown thanks to his electric playmakers around him. While Julio Jones...
Wide receiver Roddy White is active for Monday Night Football vs. Denver.
White was listed as questionable with a groin injury, but was never in real jeopardy of missing tonights prime time battle. He should be plugged into fantasy lineups.
The Falcons offense is riding high after putting 40 points on the Chiefs defense but the defense is dealing with the loss of Brent Grimes for the season. In week two, the Falcons will take on a team that made the playoffs last season and also added a Hall of Fame quarterback to their team. This game takes place on Monday and as Falcons fans know, Monday night has not been kind to...
Matt Ryan did his best not to rile up Peyton Manning.
No need to give No. 18 any bulletin-board material.
''I think he was drafted when I was in ...,'' Ryan said, catching himself. ''I don't want to make him sound TOO old.''
For the record, Ryan was in seventh grade when Manning was the top overall pick in 1998. Now, two elite quarterbacks from...
Denver Broncos (1-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
If it wasn’t for Green Bay/Chicago, this would be the game of the week. Actually, scratch that, Green Bay/Chicago was an incredibly ugly game that should have been the game of the week, but wasn’t because teams only had 3 days to prepare and played much worse than they normally do. I hate this new one game on Thursday every week thing...
Fantasy football owners that are stressing over injury reports in regards to whether or not their stud wide receivers Roddy White, Steve Smith, Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson will play during week two can breathe easy.
