We happened to see the story this morning on Deadspin about the Mardi Gras parade float featuring a giant vagina eating Roger Goodell. Now that’s a helluva way to kickoff Super Bowl XLVII festivities in New Orleans.
The Krewe du Vieux happened Saturday night in the French Quarter and didn’t fail in it’s goal of being “noted for wild satirical and adult themes.” Of course...
The Super Bowl is headed to New Orleans this year, let the games begin. I personally have no issue with anything against Roger Goodell, I really don’t like the guy. This float is just terrible. It’s so aggressive.
BACK IN BUSINESS
After a Monday meeting with the coach, Roger Goodell has reinstated Sean Payton, meaning the Saints head coach can attend Super Bowl festivities in New Orleans.
Sean Payton wants Saints fans and the city of New Orleans to provide a "gracious" environment when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell comes to visit next week.
And I want to visit Bourbon Street and swill Hurricanes at Pat O'Brien's all night while waking up hangover-free.
Neither of these things is going to happen.
Just like chugging water and taking aspirin before...

A lot of people are freaking out about the $10,500 fine handed down to Frank Gore for wearing his socks too low in the NFC Championship Game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s yet another awful abuse of authority by Roger Goodell, but it also doesn’t crack the top 5 of ridiculous fines meted out by The Rog for uniform violations.
What’s more rage inducing is the NFL bullying an industrious...
With the Super Bowl rapidly approaching and the city
of New Orleans being the host city, the fans of New Orleans now have a little
more to cheer about. After serving a season long suspension for his involvement
in the ‘Bounty-gate’ scandal, Sean Payton has been reinstated immediately as
the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
Gregg Rosenthal reported that after a meeting...
According to Peter Schrager of FOXSports.com, NBC’s Cris Collinsworth told him that he spoke with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who told him if the players don’t give a 100 percent effort in this week’s Pro Bowl, they will get rid of the game.
I’m really looking forward to see how much of an effort the players give. I’m not sure how much of the Pro Bowl I’ll watch...
This year's Pro Bowl will be the most influential all-star event in recent history. Virtually every pro series in the United States incorporates an all-star event into their schedule, but the NFL's is unique in that it comes at the end of the season. It's always been an afterthought, but if nothing changes this year, it's possible it'll be gone forever. The...
