It didn't take long after linebacker Rolando McClain was released by the Oakland Raiders for him to find a new home with the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Both sides have reportedly agreed on a a one-year worth $700,000. McClain's release was expected for a while, and his dismal 2012 season and off-field antics made it a pretty easy decision. He was suspended for two games for detrimental conduct last season as well. So now he gets a shot to redeem himself and his career in Baltimore. #Ravens reach a deal with Rolando McClain, I'm told. It's 1-year for $700K with playing timeincentives. A second chance. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 10, 2013 Mike Wilkening of PFT writes: 'McClain, who was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 draft, recorded 62 tackles in 11 games (nine starts) a season ago. The previous season, he racked up a career-best 99 tackles and five sacks. McClain projects inside in the Ravens’ base 3-4 scheme. The Ravens lost two of their key performers at the position earlier this year when Ray Lewis elected to retire and Dannell Ellerbe signed a lucrative multi-year deal with the Dolphins.' var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
