Tony Romo returned to the scene of his famous bobble that still remains a chapter in his career as the quarterback in Dallas.
The Cowboys' performance Sunday provided little closure for Romo.
''You look out there today and I can literally think of 10 things that you can't do that and win football games and we had them all in one game,'' Romo said. ''That's tough to overcome.''
Marshawn Lynch ran for 122 yards and a 3-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, Seattle's special teams came up with two huge first-quarter plays that led to 10 points, and the Seahawks beat the Cowboys 27-7 on Sunday.
Michael Robinson forced Felix Jones to fumble on the opening kickoff that led to a short field goal, and Malcolm Smith blocked Chris Jones' punt which Jeron Johnson returned for a touchdown to give Seattle (1-1) a 10-0 lead in less than 5 minutes.
Romo finished 23 of 40 for 251 yards and threw a 22-yard TD to Miles Austin in the second quar...
BEST OF MAXIM
After the week one dismantling of the New York Giants, it was easy for Dallas Cowboys fans to have dreams of sugar plum fairies and Lombardi trophies filling their minds. The team looked focused, on point, and determined to get back to postseason play for the first time in three years.

Tony Romo is 32-years-old. He has been the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for years now, and his career has had more than it’s fair share of ups and downs. While many have called for his benching at times, Romo still gives the Cowboys their best chance to win. That is why Jerry Jones wants to give him a contract extension.
Yet, to the surprise of some, Romo seems to...
Don’t bobble this one, Tony
Tony Romo bobbled the snap on a potential chip-shot field goal that would have given his Cowboys the lead over the Seattle Seahawks. It was one unfortunate play in an otherwise solid performance—including his guiding the team down the field to set up the potential game-winning 19 yard field goal.
Tony Romo was the Cinderella story of...
The Dallas Cowboys (Jerry Jones) have made it clear that they want to keep Tony Romo on the Cowboys for years to come. According to ESPN, Jones has based his interest in extending Tony Romo's contract with the Cowboys past 2013. The Cowboys are motivated in keeping, as it's being said by a few people, in Dallas, that the Cowboys have the pieces together to become a contender...
Over the weekend a report came out that the Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo have begun preliminary contract talks towards getting a contract extension hammered out.
According to ProFootballWeekly.com the Cowboys are hoping that by leaking the news that they’re working on a deal with Romo, it will help them sign him to a more salary cap friendly deal.
“It’s not shocking...
Dallas Cowboys – 7, Seattle Seahawks – 27Tony Romo (250 total yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) just does not like visiting CenturyLink Field, as it’s been a house of horrors for him. Once again, Romo showed that he’s not necessarily the best QB on the road against a physical defense. Even though this was one of the tougher defenses he’ll face this year, he still had a decent fantasy...
Last night’s Cowboys loss to the Seahawks was pretty bad… but of course that’s to be expected when I start Tony Romo off of the bench. While I’m just standing here looking...

Earlier today Ed Werder of ESPN reported that the Cowboys and the reps of Tony Romo have had preliminary discussions towards getting a contract extension done.
According to Mike Florio of PoFootballTalk.com, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says they’re not looking to extend Romo’s contract.
Florio also mentioned that a source told him that an extension is unlikely right now.
Ah, the weekend is finally here. It’s time for sleeping in, lawn work, and of course, last minute fantasy football alterations.
Being only Week 2, I hope all of you have not lost your optimism just yet. So what if you started 0-1? So did half of your league. So what if you scored 17 points, with 9 coming from your kicker? Well, then you might be in trouble. But, the season...
What did we learn this weekend in the NFL? The Saints most likely won’t make the playoffs, Bob Kraft didn’t think his kicker would miss that gimme, Tony Romo can’t win in Seattle and the Jets probably weren’t a good fit for Tim Tebow. One carry for 22 yards?
In NASCAR news, last week a woman gave birth in a New Hampshire NASCAR track parking lot. As a reward, the track has...
