Tim Tebow may be short on interest from NFL teams at the moment, but at least he has plenty of other job offers. Ron Jaworski, a former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current ESPN NFL analyst, says he offered Tebow a job to play for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League. Jaws is one of the team’s co-owners. Jaworski told the Philadelphia Daily News that he and the Soul’s coach drew up some plays they sent to Tebow as part of their offer. Most of the plays they had in mind for him reportedly were around the goal line. Jaws says the team was not planning to give Tebow the starting quarterback job, but Jaws thinks some time in the league could be beneficial to the former Jets and Broncos QB. “One [criticism] of Tebow is that he is slow and methodical,” Jaworski told the Daily News. “He would be forced to quicken it up in this league and it would be good training for him. You can learn a lot in this league. It’s about processing information and getting the ball out . . . or you get whacked.” No surprise, Tebow has not responded to the offer. The former Heisman Trophy winner is looking to stay in the NFL. Tebow is good enough to be a backup quarterback in the league, but teams don’t want a backup who’s going to invite a media circus. His chances of getting a gig in the league might be improved if he switched positions, but he does not seem ready to do that. In the meantime, Tebow can continue working with his quarterback coach while contemplating offers from the AFL and Lingerie Football League. Helmet smack to Pro Football Talk

  • I HAVE A QUESTION FOR THE GREAT MERRIL HODGE, Trent Dilfer, Jaws, & all the other analyst that rip on Tim Tebow, and say he can't play in the NFL. Between all of them there is 1 person how even won a super-bowl, and the one analyst that did win a superbowl, it was one of the worst SBs EVER. LOOKAT DILFERS STATS, HE SUCKED.
Here is my Question, ; Each one of these Loser so called Analyst say Tim Tebow can't player QB in the NFL, if that is a statement you stand behind them should Elway be fired for making him the STARTING QB in Denver? Should the Jets head coach, be fired for wanting and trading for Tebow? They claim he can't play football, where were they when Tebow took a losing team to the playoffs in his first season starting? Tim tebow played better than the QB of 20 some odd teams that didn't make the play offs that year. After all isn't it the (W) that counts at the end of the day? These bunch of hacks haven't got a clue what winning is. He is a leader, and there is no stat in the world that can measure that, so lets hear your answers you bunch of losers.answer that question
