For fifteen seasons, Ronde Barber has been a staple of the Bucs defense, establishing himself as an all-time great with longevity rarely achieved in today’s NFL. Unfortunately, the soon-to-be free agent knows his shelf life may be set to expire soon. While at a charity event for fellow teammate Shelton Quarles on Saturday night, Barber told the Tampa Bay Times that he’s undecided over his future with the organization. “Things have to play themselves out like they did last year,” Barber said. “We’ll have a meeting of the minds like we did last year and if I fit in, we’ll go from there.” Reading between the lines, it appears he wants to continue on in 2012.
