Ronnie Hillman is a very young back, that needs to learn patience, but if you watched the game last night, you could see Willis McGahee didn’t have that break away speed anymore. Ronnie Hillman was brought in because of his change of pace skills. Hillman is not being utilized correctly by the Broncos, they are trying to use him between the tackles, when he has the speed to take a carry on the outside and turn it into a huge gain. He reminds me of a smaller CJ Spiller. Hillman has the speed, but Peyton and company need to find a way to get him the ball in the flats more. Maybe some screen passes, or some pitch plays. If you can get Hillman in the open field he will surprise many players. John Fox realizes this, and it won’t be long before you see the Broncos draft pick get his chance to run.
