Found October 26, 2013 on Rumors and Rants:
Before the 2013 NFL season many experts targeted Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman as a potential breakout candidate. Conventional wisdom had Hillman and rookie Montee Ball taking over in Denver’s backfield and forming an exciting one-two punch at running back. Just seven weeks into the season Hillman has already found himself deep in head coach John Fox’s doghouse. Mike Klis of the Denver Post is reporting that Hillman will not be active for the Broncos this week after fumbling in back-to-back games. In Week 7 he coughed the ball up near the goal line and that cost Denver any chance it had of beating the Indianapolis Colts. C.J. Anderson will replace Hillman on the game-day roster as the team’s No. 3 back for this Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins. If you have Hillman on your fantasy team it’s probably a good idea to go ahead and dump him. Knowshon Moreno and Ball will almost certainly be the team’s top two backs for the rest of the season. Hillman is in hi...

The Broncos come into this weeks game leading the NFL both in yards gained (469.3) and points scored (42.6) per game. Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman To Be Deactivated For Week 8

The Denver Broncos are going to deactivate running back Ronnie Hillman for week 8 against the visiting Washington Redskins. The ball security issues that have plagued Hillman finally caught up to him in week 7 when his fourth quarter fumble against the Colts stopped all the momentum and cost them any chance of making the comeback. While it was the first fumble Hillman lost this season...

Knowshon Moreno, Montee Ball and C.J. Anderson: a Broncos platoon

Knowshon Moreno has been a nice story of redemption since the second-half of last season. His story, though, is getting a little too good. The Broncos want to spell him more. Less now — more later. And so Montee Ball and C.J. Anderson will get a chance to prove they can ably spell Moreno today against the Washington Redskins. In the Broncos’ previous two games, Moreno had...

NFL Week 8 Previews, Winners and Losers

Hey, hey, hey…slow down! It’s Week 8 already? This season is going way too fast. Pretty much like how certain teams can put up points on the scoreboard, quickly.  Eleven teams, thus far, this season are averaging at least 25 points per game, which is on pace to be the most in a season in NFL history. Among those quick scorers, or late point grabbers who are milking up garage...

It’s been a season rattled with injury for Denver Broncos defensive back Champ Bailey, one that he had hoped to put behind him when he made his season debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. All went splendidly, though Bailey was quickly forced out of next weeks action against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7, though hopes to return in Week 10. Champ Bailey called the...

According to Chuck Carroll of CBS DC,  Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered an injury to his left knee during Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. The good news is that it’s not his surgically repaired right knee. The biggest concern for the Washington Redskins Sunday isn’t a 45-21 drubbing at the hands of the Denver Broncos.
