BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns went into the offseason determined to bolster three critical parts of the offense -- quarterback, running back and protection for both. General Manager Tom Heckert took care of the first two parts of the mission in the first round when he drafted Trent Richardson third and Brandon Weeden 22nd. Heckert then got Richardson and Weeden a bodyguard when he used his third pick, pick 37 overall, on right Mitchell Schwartz. Schwartz was the starting right tackle Wednesday during OTAs, and as long as he doesn't trip over his size 18 shoes, he'll also be the starting right tackle in the season opener Sept. 9 against the Eagles. Schwartz is replacing Tony Pashos, the right tackle released in March. If all goes as projected, the bookends of the line -- Joe Thomas at left tackle and Schwartz on the right -- will be set for at least the next four years. "I'm aware of the situation," Schwartz said. "You have to get the coaches' trust...

Many Cleveland Browns fans have taken to their fantasy football teams for enjoyment since 1999 as the real Browns have struggled. For the first time in a long time, fantasy owners might just be looking to the Browns for excitement. Little knows importance of his role in 2012

BEREA -- The Cleveland Browns drafted a running back and a quarterback in April, but they did not take a wide receiver until the 4th round. Whether that happened by accident, the vagaries of the draft or luck does not matter to Greg Little. He said the receivers noticed. It definitely sends a message that the guys we have as receivers are who theyre confident with going into any...

Report: Browns’ Quarterbacks struggle during OTAs

According to those at today’s practice sessions, it was not a banner day for the offense. From Will Burge- “The wide receivers had a rough day and so did the quarterbacks. Colt McCoy really had a tough time in 7 on 7s and was visibly frustrated. He nearly threw an interception down the seam on an awful pass. He threw a slant that was at the receiver’s feet. Weeden, McCoy begin "competition"

Brandon Is Weeden McCoy Out Of A Job

The Browns expect Brandon Weeden to be their starting quarterback for the 2012 season but saying he will have to earn it.  They have given him first team reps over Colt McCoy this week despite Colt getting them the week prior.  Brandon is a 28 year old rookie which, in many ways, is kind of like the 40 year old virgin.  He’s going to look awkward out on the field and will...

Browns’ Greg Little has slimmed down

In preparation for his 2nd NFL season, the Browns’ Greg Little has slimmed down about 11 pounds, getting him to around 6-2 210. Little is reporting turning many heads at Browns’ OTAs. Immensely talented, but raw as a rookie, Little is the undisputed #1 receiver on an offense that should be better this season. The 2011 2nd round pick is a popular breakout pick and has a lot of...

I don’t think that’s possible...

Robert Griffin III being referred to as “The Arm”
