Two weeks ago, rookie receiver Terrence Austin made the trip with the Redskins to Tennessee, and he thought for sure he would be called up off the practice squad and activated for his first NFL game. That didn't happen, but Austin only had to wait seven more days. Last Saturday, the Redskins cut veteran Joey Galloway and signed Austin to the 53-man roster, a move Coach Mike Shanahan and offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said was made as much for Austin's versatility on special teams (which Galloway did not play) as it was for his ability as a receiver. In last Sunday's 17-13 loss to Minnesota, Austin appeared in the offense as a receiver, and said he was comfortable. He did not end up with a catch, but he believes that will change soon. "I'm used to getting out there playing," Austin said. "I think that I lost all my nerves
