Position: Wide Receiver Height / Weight: 6’0” 198 lbs. Age: 26 / Experience: 4 College: East Carolina Analysis: Allison played for the Minnesota Vikings between ‘07 and ‘09 and was a help in contributing to special teams and to the passing game in limited roles.  Allison was a project for them out of East Carolina and was known for having good speed and quickness off the line (timed 4.39 in ‘07) but was knocked for focus issues.  It would seem that as a project he failed to materialize in time, and the addition last year of Percy Harvin probably pushed him out of the viking ship for the Jets to snatch up last summer, when there were questions about the depth of the unit’s WRs.
