What is your biggest question mark for the Patriots heading into the 2013 season? Raj: The Patriots do not look like a super bowl-contending team. With the departure of Wes Welker and Danny Woodhead, the injury to Rob Gronkowski, and the fiasco involving Aaron Hernandez, the Patriots have a lot of gaps in the offense. I don't see this offense as the potent offense the Patriots had in 2011 and 2007. The addition of Danny Amendola is critical, however is it enough? I feel that the Patriots offense, particularly their receiving core, will be a big question mark this season. The Pats have veteran receivers in Amendola and Julian Edelman but I truly feel this is the perfect opportunity for guys like Kenbrell Thompkins, Zach Sudfeld, and Aaron Dobson to step up and make a difference. If those 5 names contribute their all to the Patriots, then by the time Gronk comes back, this offense will be lethal. As Patriots fans, we're only used to seeing the Pats' offens...

Patriots’ Danny Amendola listed on Week 1 injury report

New England Patriots wide receiver, Danny Amendola, is known more to be like Elijah Price than David Dunn.  Therefore, it is no surprise that even in Week 1, Amendola is listed on the Patriots’ injury report.  However, looks can be deceiving. Josh Alper of NBCSports reports that Amendola, who signed with the Patriots in the offseason, is listed on the Patriots’ injury report...

This is an odd way to peddle deodorant

Wes Welker in a snow globe? Really? This is kind of troubling, really.

Should the NFL adopt college football's replay rules?

Last night’s game was a great way to open the NFL season. Two playoff contenders battled it out, and at the end of the night, it was clear where the game hinged. Early in the third quarter, the Broncos trailed the Ravens by three points. Then Wes Welker dropped a third down pass – except he didn’t. The officials called the play a completed pass, and the Ravens failed to...

Time to see Welker in a Broncos jersey...

Even now, months after Patriots All-Pro wide receiver and fan favorite Wes Welker signed with the Denver Broncos, it is still going to hurt seeing him in a different jersey. Welker sported #83 during his time in New England, shattering various team receiving records while asserting himself as the prototypical slot receiver. Seriously, try to name another player who owns the short...

Danny Amendola Expected To Return in Second Half

CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson says Patriots wideout Danny Amendola is expected to return after briefly exiting the game with a groin injury.Fantasy Spin:Amendola has already been targeted six times and he should get plenty more looks in the second half. Don't be surprised if he finds the end zone at some point.

Danny Amendola Shines For Patriots in Week 1

Danny Amendola had a successful Patriots debut on Sunday.Fantasy Spin:Amendola led the team with ten catches for 104 yards. The former Ram looked every bit as sure-handed as the player he replaced (Wes Welker, now of the Denver Broncos) and he should be in for a career-year as long as he can stay on the field.

Rob Gronkowski doubtful, Danny Amendola probable for week one

Even though Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was limited in practice this week,  he’s been listed as doubtful for this week’s opener against the Bills. Wide receiver Danny Amendola on the other hand is listed as probable with a groin injury. So it looks like Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will at least have one of his top targets.   Need NFL Tickets? Loading... ...

Harbaugh: 'We never saw' replay of Wes Welker's dropped catch

Early on in the third quarter of Thursday night's Broncos-Ravens game -- a 49-27 blowout win for Denver that featured a record seven touchdowns for Peyton Manning -- there was a controversial non-move from John Harbaugh when he decided not to challenge what was an obvious drop by Wes Welker. Harbaugh defended the move after the game saying the Ravens "never saw" replay...

Gronk officially listed as doubtful for Week 1

FOXBORO, Mass. — Despite practicing all week, it’s unlikely we see Rob Gronkowski this weekend against the Bills. Gronkowski was listed as doubtful on the Patriots’ injury report. He was a limited participant with forearm and back injuries all week. Danny Amendola was listed as probable with a groin injury. He was Wednesday and Thursday, but he was a full participant in...

Eagles Defense still a Mystery Tour...and a tribute to our FF players...

This site just graduated to a bigger and better server, which caused a longer-than-expected delay as internet services around the globe caught up with our new location at varying speeds of adjustment. I apologize on behalf of the network for the incovenience. I watched the Ravens get shredded by Peyton Manning, Wes Welker and the Broncos during my own delay of access to the site...

Ring Envy: What Bills fans said - 9/8/13

The regular season is back and so is the Ring Envy series! We take a look at what Bills fans had to say about the game. Needless to say, there was a lot of disappointment. Fans in Buffalo were teased with that lead in the fourth, but ultimately Stevie Johnson and their head coach gave the game away. Oh, and some guys named Tom Brady and Danny Amendola played a part too. Overall...

Tom Brady has been itching to play meaningful football again for months now. On Sunday, he’ll finally have that opportunity once again. With three of his top four options from 2012 – Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd and Aaron Hernandez – all gone from the Patriots’ roster, Brady has been forced to work with an entirely revamped receiving corps this preseason.
