It looks like Jeff Otah won’t be on the field for the Panthers for at least the first few weeks of the 2010 season:
Carolina Panthers starting RT Jeff Otah said he had a “mini-setback” in his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery and it may cost him the first couple games of the 2010 regular season. Otah, who hasn’t practiced at all during the preseason and has missed both days of practice this week, is not likely to play Sunday against the New York Giants. When asked when he hopes to return to the field, Otah said, “Hopefully in the next couple of weeks — next two or three weeks – I can get out there and start practicing.
