Whenever faced with pressure, whether it relates to being rushed by defenders, criticism or competition, Russell Wilson is cool as a cucumber. The Seattle Seahawks rookie signal-caller spoke about his height (after being goaded a bit by the host) and the quarterback competition in the latest edition of fellow teammate and fullback Michael Robinson’s The Real Rob Report.
“What do you say about people who say you’re too short, Shorty?” Robinson asked. “Because you are short. Let’s just honest. You’re a short little dude.”

The 5-11, 204-pound Wilson, selected in the third round (75th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft, wasn’t phased.
“I don’t worry about the critics,” Wilson said. “I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to play in the National Football League, and I know that I’m just going to push my talents as far as I can go. And then wherever the Lord takes me, and I know He’ll take me a long way, it’ll be great.”
