Fitzpatrick has been good in the past so maybe the Titans will get that version of him over the next few weeks with Jake Locker on the mend. And in a way he did not disappoint @SBNationGIF/Twitter On the day he almost accounted for 300 yards of offense. Through the air he was 21-41 for 247 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. What was more impressive was his work on the ground-- six carries for 50 yards and one touchdown (a team high for the day). Yes, you could say that got his mojo back. After losing his job in Buffalo it had to the suffering, and there is nothing like getting back in the saddle to get it back. It must have worked since after running for a score he broke out the Superman move that Panthers QB Cam Newton is known for (see above).\ If only the Titans ...

Ryan Fitzpatrick Imitates Cam Newton’s ‘Superman’ Celebration After Rushing for Touchdown (GIF)

Ryan Fitzpatrick had a tall order to fill on Sunday afternoon — he not only had to replace Jake Locker under center, but he also had to take the reins against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. It was not just a job for a veteran quarterback, but a job for Superman. The former Bills quarterback started out looking rough for the Titans, going three-and-out on his first five series...

Carolina Panthers take step back in loss to Cardinals

The set up couldn’t have been better. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was returning to University of Phoenix Stadium where he had led his Auburn Tigers to their first national championship since 1953.  It was also the stadium where Newton had thrown for 422 yards in his first ever NFL start. That game was a loss, but it announced Newton’s arrival into the league and with a bang...

Titans falter late, fall to 5-0 Chiefs in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Tennessee Titans experienced the best and worst of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in Sunday's 26-17 loss to visiting Kansas City. Chris Johnson Turns Busted Play Into 50 Yard TD Catch (Video)

Chris Johnson turned another quiet fantasy day and an almost certain loss into this amazing 50 yard touchdown off a flip pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick. I do sometimes wish CJ2K played for a contender.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jake Locker, the Titans, and the Chiefs

It is  well-known by this point that the Tennessee Titans will be without Jake Locker for likely the next three games because of his hip injury. That means backup Ryan Fitzpatrick will be pressed into duties as the starter, with Rusty Smith the new backup as the Titans finally made that roster move. In Fitzpatrick, the Titans have one of the better backup quarterbacks in the...
