According to ProFootballTalk.com, San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews told XTRA Sports 1560 that he has “no doubt” that he’ll be ready for their season opener against the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football.

Earlier today we mentioned that there’s some belief that Mathews won’t be back until October, because of how long it takes for a clavicle to heal.

I have my doubts that Mathews will be ready for the Chargers’ season opener.
