S Jayron Kearse gives Cowboys scare with pregame injury
Raymond Carlin III-USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys starting safety Jayron Kearse needed assistance to walk off the field after sustaining an undisclosed injury during pregame warmups on Sunday.

Kearse, however, returned from the locker room and began working with trainers ahead of the Cowboys' game against the visiting Houston Texans. He then was announced into the starting lineup.

The Cowboys also have the group of Donovan Wilson, Malik Hooker and Israel Mukuamu at the position.

Kearse, 28, has totaled 54 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery in nine games (all starts) this season.
