Dallascowboys.com is reporting that Safety Pat Watkins has signed his restricted tender:
Safety Pat Watkins agreed to his one-year tender contract with the Cowboys on Thursday, as the deadline for teams to sign restricted free agents to offer sheets expired. Watkins, a 2006 fifth-round pick who has started 10 games in his Cowboys career, will earn $1.176 million this season. With the removal of the league’s salary cap in the final year of the current collective bargaining agreement, players are not eligible for unrestricted free agency until after their sixth year of service.
