Abraham has eight sacks and leads up the Falcons’ pass rush. He suffered a groin injury about two weeks ago. He played against Baltimore with the injury and recorded two sacks. He tried to play last week, but after working out two hours before kickoff the coaching staff decided to make him inactive. Coach Mike Smith called the move precautionary. Abraham will be needed to slow down the Packers’ vaunted passing attack. The Packers average 247.1 yards passing per game, which is 10th in the league.
