Safety Darian Thompson visits with Colts on Thursday

The Indianapolis Colts lost a memlost a member of their defensive line in Kemoko Turay on Thursday, but they also reportedly have been taking a look at perhaps making an addition to their secondary.

Thompson was selected 71st overall by the Giants in 2016 and appeared in just two games during his rookie season, missing six contests with a foot injury. Thompson's best season thus far came in 2017, when he started and played in all 16 games and recorded career highs in tackles (75) and passes defended (six), while picking up his first NFL interception as well.

The 28-year-old signed with the Cowboys in October 2018 and played in 10 games that season, but appeared on the field for just 55 snaps. Thompson then suited up for 15 contests (four starts) with Dallas in 2019 and registered 45 tackles, three passes defended and 1.5 sacks.

He made 43 tackles and notched an interception and his first career forced fumble over 15 games in 2020, but played in only five games this past season.
