With QB Chad Henne now out for the season after undergoing surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, the Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with a veteran quarterback this afternoon who will eventually take his place in the Dolphins lineup. No, not David Garrard, veteran journeyman, Sage Rosenfels. Rosenfels returns to the team which employed him from 2002-2005 before he left to join the Houston Texans. The 33-year old quarterback was missed time with a rare blood infection and was last a member of the New York Giants. Before joining the Giants, Rosenfels was a member of the Minnesota Vikings during the preseason of the 2010 season. I thought that he looked to be the best of all the quarterbacks on the roster for the Vikings during preseason last year. I doubt this signing does much for the Dolphins offense as Rosenfels has not been in actual regular game action since 2009 while a member of the Houston Texans and it will likely take a week or two for him to get back to spe...
