The New Orleans Saints have claimed safety Rafael Bush off waivers from the Denver Broncos and waived safety Jonathon Amaya. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Bush spent the second half of last season with Denver, appearing in six games and making three tackles, all on special teams. Bush joined the NFL as an undrafted rookie with Atlanta in 2010 and spent most of that season on the practice squad before moving to the active roster for one regular season game and a playoff game. Amaya is a third-year safety whom New Orleans acquired last season from Miami in a trade that sent running back Reggie Bush to the Dolphins. Amaya appeared in all 16 regular season games for New Orleans last season on both special teams and as a backup.

(Kyle Montgomery/BroncoTalk.net photo) The Road to 53 is never an easy one for coaches and team executives, but maybe John Elway and John Fox can sleep a little easier knowing a handful of the players they cut have landed elsewhere in the NFL. Broncos' Roster Down to 53 Players: Analyzing the Cuts

The Denver Broncos have unveiled their 53-man roster, and although there aren't too many shocks of the 22 casualties, there are a few that are worth noting and analyzing. Florence was a surprise...

Denver Broncos News Adam Weber has been impressive playing for the Denver Broncos in each of the last two preseasons, but he just doesn’t seem to get any consideration upwards on the depth chart.  Meanwhile, Brock Osweiler is continuing to be unimpressive against a bunch of defensive players who will soon be cut from the Arizona Cardinals roster, but he did have that one great...

Broncos linebackers will make or break 2012 defense

Denver, CO. For a defense that finished 2011 in the botton half of the league in both rushing yards and passing yards allowed, there is actually plenty of optimism heading into 2012. The Denver Broncos won their first preseason game on Thursday night with ease, and it was the defense who shined throughout. They are led by young stars Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil, as well as having...

Denver Broncos News John Elway breaks down the roster moves from yesterday.  He calls the Denver Broncos Cut Day the “worst day of the year” and I can imagine why. [DenverBroncos.com] If I had to pick one player who had the best preseason so far, it would be Eric Decker. His chemistry with Peyton Manning is really showing itself and we should expect big things from this tandem...

The best guilty pleasures of the 2012 preseason

The 2012 preseason is finally drawing to an end, but the preseason is always the time that the casual fans begin to tune in and find out if their team will actually have a shot this season.
