Found September 17, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
New Orleans Saints cornerback Patrick Robinson was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday’s victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an apparent leg injury. New Orleans medical staff responded swiftly and prepared for a serious injury, per Josh Alper of“The cart came out as quickly as we can remember any cart appearing on the field and the Saints medical staff was quick to put an air-cast around the leg during the short wait for assistance getting off the field.”The Saints have yet to provide an update on the injury, despite the severity of the medical attention Robinson received during the game.Robinson started all 16 games for the Saints in 2012, but lost the job to free agent acquisition Keenan Lewis. Robinson has just one tackle on the year, so this will mainly be a depth loss for the Saints in nickel package sets, if in fact he misses significant time to the injury.Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Brees aims to end Saints' red-zone drought

Drew Brees sees no reason why the offense he leads shouldn't approach the 40-point plateau on a regular basis. So even though the New Orleans Saints have a chance to improve to 3-0 this Sunday when they host Arizona, Brees is a bit unsettled by the fact that his unit has had a hard time seeing drives all the way through to the end zone. ''We've certainly had some...

Saints vs. Bucs: 2 and O-M-F-G!

Remember the good ole days when the New Orleans Saints would open up a 40 point can of whoop ass on some team and you could kick your feet up for the second half of a game? So umm, I won’t be greedy and ask that we do that every week but if we could not have every game come down to the final freaking play in the final freaking second, that would be just super. Thanks! In the...

Payton: Saints fortunate to be 2-0 despite errors

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By BRETT MARTEL AP Sports Writer Sean Payton can't complain about the Saints' 2-0 record. Buccs safety Dashon Goldson suspension overturned but fined $100K

Buccs safety Dashon Goldson suspension was overturned on appeal, for a hit against New Orleans Saints Darren Sproles on Sunday. The NFL is still fining the safety $100,000 for the hit. Kind of seems like if the suspension was overturned, the fine should be as well but I guess the NFL and Commissioner Goodell is making sure the message comes across loud and clear. NFL announced it...

Saints Nation: Offensive Player Grades @ Bucs

There's really not much to get excited about after a performance like this offensively, except for the two minute drill at the end that set up the game winning field goal. That drive was executed to perfection, so much so it would make Les Miles salivate in jealousy, and it made up for a game long horrific performance by helping steal an NFC South win on the road. Let us hope...
