Saints Injury Roundup: Juwan Johnson Among Three Ruled Out for Week 5
USA TODAY Sports

The Saints ruled out three of players ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Patriots in Week 5. Here's how things look for New Orleans this week.

Saints Final Injury Report - Week 5

  • OUT: Lonnie Johnson Jr. (hamstring), Juwan Johnson (calf), Landon Young (hip)
  • QUESTIONABLE: Andrus Peat (concussion), Derek Carr (right shoulder), Paulson Adebo (hamstring), James Hurst (ankle)

Johnson Jr., Johnson, and Young all missed practice on Friday, while Peat returned. Also missing was wide receiver Shaq Davis. Ryan Ramczyk (foot), Bryan Bresee (illness), Erik McCoy (knee), Foster Moreau (ankle), and Jordan Howden (finger) do not carry an injury designation going into Sunday.

James Hurst was just added to the Friday report, and he was limited in practice along with Peat. That's one worth monitoring, but we'll see how thing turn out after Saturday. Adebo and Howden were both trending in the right direction this week, and it looks like Howden will be playing for sure.

Patriots Final Injury Report

  • OUT: Christian Gonzalez (shoulder), Matthew Judon (elbow)
  • QUESTIONABLE: Christian Barmore (knee), Cody Davis (knee), Trey Flowers (foot), Davon Godchaux (ankle), Jonathan Jones (ankle), Riley Reiff (knee), Rhamondre Stevenson (thigh), Cole Strange (knee), Shaun Wade (shoulder), Trenton Brown (chest)
