It sounds as if Mike McKenzie's second tour of duty with the Saints may be over. While no official word has been released, if you go to the Saints roster page HERE you'll notice that Chase Daniel is listed and Mike McKenzie is not. It had been announced that Daniel was signed and the Saints had to make a corresponding move to free up a roster spot. McKenzie struggled, by and large, but no one will forget the magical comeback game he had against Tom Brady and the Patriots. He was the defensive player of the game and got an interception. If this really is it for McKenzie in a Saints uniform, thanks for the memories #34 - you were a great one. It's not out of the question that the Saints could still tinker with their roster and bring McKenzie back, but his release is an indication that Jabari Greer, Tracy Porter and Randall Gay are all on the mend.
