TEAMS: New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers
The Saints travel to new Mile High Stadium (Sports Authority Field) to face the Denver Broncos on prime time this Sunday night. The game will be televised nationally on NBC and it represents the first time the Saints will play in Denver since 2008 when they lost 32-34 back when Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall were still the key players in their offense. A lot has happened to the Broncos since that day. Both teams feature explosive passing and on paper it looks like it could be a very high scoring shootout. Weather could be a factor, though, as the forecast calls for temperatures as low as 38 degrees. Not as bad as it could have been, though, when you consider it's currently 29 degrees and snowing over there! Here's what to expect from the Broncos and how the Saints match up.
OFFENSE:

Peyton: The game is harder after neck surgeries
If you look at the numbers so far this season, one would think that Peyton Manning is already back to full health.
He is second in quarterback rating at 105.0, top 5 in touchdown passes with 14, and on pace to throw for a career high 4,281 passing yards. He also is on pace to only throw 11 interceptions, which would be his lowest total since 2006.
However, Peyton is quick...
Can the Saints make the playoffs this season? A look at their remaining schedule and the NFC South
The Saints are shockingly bad this season. I did not expect them to be affected this much by the loss of their head coach. Drew Brees has decided he has to share his opinion on all the big issues in the NFL after being out front during the lock-out and now with the bounty scandal. He's actually becoming obnoxious. He needs to spend more time preparing and less time complaining...
Sean Payton believes Saints aren’t done yet: “The coaches that are in that locker room have the wherewithal to get this thing turned around”
Sean Payton may not have contact with his team, but it doesn’t mean he’s not emotionally involved. It must be hard for the fiery coach to stand by watching his team prepare and play each week. The man who helped rebuild New Orleans, Payton only can sit back and watch, and he spoke to Bobby Hebert and Deke Bellavia on WWL in New Orleans about his confidence abou his staff.
“I...

Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter has missed a few practices lately, and is dealing with symptoms that may be caused by vertigo.
Reports say that Porter was held out and was not allowed to fly for the Broncos’ Week 7 ballgame against the San Diego Chargers the previous Monday before this one.

Roger Goodell takes a picture next to a fan wearing a "Free Sean Payton" shirt
Irony plays no small part in the picture above, and if you're like me, you're asking yourself how Roger Goodell, commissioner of the NFL, found himself in focus for this shot.
The fan who's picture was fetched by the great folks at Deadspin, posted his own explanation of how the picture came to be on the Saints' forums,
The picture. During the event, I...
Saints RB Chris Ivory Frustrated But Won't Be Traded
Saints running back Chris Ivory is not happy with his lack of playing time, Kristian Garic of WWL Radio in New Orleans reports.
"Deep down, I would have to say, yes, I'm frustrated," Ivory told Garic. "It's a little frustrating to just kind of sit back. I just feel like my worth is more than that, than just, you know, sitting back on the side."

Saints Nation: Defense Struggling To Find Motivation?
Might I suggest "Bounty Gate" has affected the Saints defense in a way you have not thought of yet. For the last three years, this Saints defense has been motivated to "play hard" by a system that offers cash rewards for big plays. Let's throw out the bounty allegations for a minute and concentrate on what has been admitted: pay for performance. The Saints...
12 Saints Players Submit Letters Denying Bounty Program
The legal team for New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma submitted declarations from 12 current Saints players denying the existence of the bounty program as part of new evidence sent to former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue to bolster their case in next week's appeal hearing, Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
The declarations, which were dated...

Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Saints, but sources close to the player tell NFL Network's Michelle Beisner that Porter is unlikely to play.
Porter was at the Broncos' facility on Saturday and re-iterated his desire to play against his former team.
